Jeez, thanks to Andrew for poking me on this. I'd totally forgotten about it. Silly life and it's interference in everything.
So let's see...
I went down to 14 pounds after hurting my wrist in December. Ended up buying a Col 300 Resurgence. Then promptly bowling 215-220 for a month solid. Bowled my first 300 a couple weeks ago. That was incredibly exciting. Was on a good league, too. Lots of people around that had never seen one before, so everyone was pretty pumped up and a large chunk of the house watched.
Assuming I don't immediately forget this exists once I'm done with this post, I'll have to chop up and post a couple recent videos. I've smoothed out most of the kinks in my swing and release in general. Looks much more fluid now, and thanks to some excellent coaching I've moved my timing a bit later. I actually kinda look like I know what I'm doing now. Rather frightening, actually. :)
Last couple weeks have been brutal. I've been fighting this cold or flu virus that's had me down with a fever a couple times, and the thing just won't finish it's business and go away! So of course bowling has suffered a bit. My ball speed is down and I can't seem to keep my balance consistently at the foul line. CAn't wait to be at 100% again. Bowling has been a struggle for more than a week.
Heading to Albequerque soon! I'm very excited to get the chance to bowl at the Nationals. Should be a great experience. I was very lucky to have been invited. Here's hoping I don't stink up the joint, eh?

It's actually Chris', but yeah, I'll have it with me Monday and Tuesday, I'm sure. Long as I get copies of the footage. :)
