About Me: I'm 27 and have been bowling with the intention of getting better for about 18 months. I hover between a 190 and a 200 average depending on which night of the week it is. I love every aspect of the sport and spend a large portion of my free time trying to improve my game.
Music: Mostly heavy rock or industrial/techno, although I've been known to enjoy songs from all genres on occasion
Movies: pretty much everything. I have a very active Netflix account and spend the wee hours of any given night watching something awful.
TV: Voyager reruns, Eureka, BSG... yeah, I'm a geek.
Books: waiting patiently for the next Wheel of Time novel.
Hobbies: If score is kept during the activity, it could be considered a hobby of mine. I'm a gamer through and through.
    Heroes: Batman!

Jeez, thanks to Andrew for poking me on this.  I'd totally forgotten about it.  Silly life and it's interference in everything.

    So let's see...

I went down to 14 pounds after hurting my wrist in December.  Ended up buying a Col 300 Resurgence.  Then promptly bowling 215-220 for a month solid.  Bowled my first 300 a couple weeks ago.  That was incredibly exciting.  Was on a good league, too.  Lots of people around that had never seen one before, so everyone was pretty pumped up and a large chunk of the house watched.

Assuming I don't immediately forget this exists once I'm done with this post, I'll have to chop up and post a couple recent videos.  I've smoothed out most of the kinks in my swing and release in general.  Looks much more fluid now, and thanks to some excellent coaching I've moved my timing a bit later.  I actually kinda look like I know what I'm doing now.  Rather frightening, actually.  :)

Last couple weeks have been brutal.  I've been fighting this cold or flu virus that's had me down with a fever a couple times, and the thing just won't finish it's business and go away!  So of course bowling has suffered a bit.  My ball speed is down and I can't seem to keep my balance consistently at the foul line.  CAn't wait to be at 100% again.  Bowling has been a struggle for more than a week.

Heading to Albequerque soon!  I'm very excited to get the chance to bowl at the Nationals.  Should be a great experience.  I was very lucky to have been invited.  Here's hoping I don't stink up the joint, eh?

Been a wild couple of weeks, so pardon my lack of postage.

Messed up my wrist overturning the ball during a tourney a couple weeks ago, so I've been toning down how much I bowl and toning down how hard I rev the ball.  Turns out I have a very decent slow shot, too.  :D  Still trying to figure out how to cover multi-pin spares at this speed, but I'll get it.  Only lost a pin or two on my average overall, so it's salvageable.  I look a bit like the bionic man when I bowl now.  lots of braces to keep from hurting myself further.

Plus I pretty much permanently smell like Icy Hot now.  <_<

It's actually Chris', but yeah, I'll have it with me Monday and Tuesday, I'm sure. Long as I get copies of the footage. :)

Can I use your camcorder to make a video of the pinsetter from the back? I want to post a video of it on here. that would be cool. If you wanted to, I could set up that trick shot for you again (this time without sending a pin into the ball return LOL)
